This week in Ada was eventful, and did not disappoint.
Thursday night was trick or treat for the village. It was good to see so many
parents and their kids dressed up, and out walking around town. Halloween is
always a fun time of year. We get the chance to see people be creative and
expressive with costume ideas. My roommates and I took full advantage of living
off campus in Ada. We bought two big bags of candy thinking that would be
sufficient, we were wrong. The last few trick or treaters received granola
bars, though a healthy alternative, we had some disappointed looks.
The weekend was just as fun. The Polar Bears played Marietta
under the lights Saturday, and put on quite a show. The Bears won by a margin
of 40 points. The weather could not have been better.

After the game the streets of Ada were filled with creative
costumes, and some not so creative. For the first time in the last couple of
years we did not have snow on the ground before Halloween, whether that is a
good or bad thing is for you to decide. Saturday ended, we set our clocks back, November
arrived, and we are moving forward. October came and went in a flash. I am
looking forward to seeing what November has to offer.
Sam,
ReplyDeleteIt was a great weekend. Even though I didn't dress up it's still fun to see everyone's costumes. Even if not in the streets, Instagram had its fair share of costumes. Glad you remembered the clock set back.
